On 7 Feb 1797, David GILLIAM, receives a grant for 460 acres on some of the waters of Holloday River and south side of the Buckingham Road, adjoining Joseph Brown, William Morriss, Crouches, Richard GILLIAM, James Walker, David McCormack and Olive Branch.

Richard H. GILLIAM’s Bible includes a death record for David McCormick]

This Sally appears to be the Sally living with Richard H. GILLIAM in 1860, age 45]

In 1844 John D. GILLIAM [Jr?] purchased 220 acres on Buck and Doe Creek
In 1853 Mr. Bocock, Commissioner, sold 220 acres on Buck and Doe Creek to R. J. Davis

In 1861, apparently John D. GILLIAM’s [Jr?] estate sold 304 acres to Richard H. GILLIAM
[In the 1860 Buckingham Census Richard H. GILLIAM has living with him Sallie Davis, age 45 and William, age 19].
In 1861, Richard H. GILLIAM purchased 356 acres on the Slate River from Richard S. GILLIAM, subject to the dower interest of John D. GILLIAM’s [Jr?] widow.
